Re: pic: Naptime

OOHH man. I am not sure if this is the best place to post this story, but whatever.
During 2008 Championship, on Friday I believe I took the best nap in the history of FIRST. Our robot was having a really strange electromechanical problem, and our electronics guys were taking a long time to go though and double check all of the components etc on the robot. the robot was off, or at least not running anything, and I was initially sitting at the front of the robot, comfortably holding up the lifter mechanism out of the way of my team members (there is this awesome little "safe zone" inside the manipulator claw where you are safe from all of the robot's attacks). we eventually just propped the lifter out of the way, and I became useless, seeing as electronics is not really my cup of tea. Meanwhile a short troubleshooting session turned into a nightmare, the team had to ask the assistance of another very helpful and gracious team(s) and even ask a few inspectors if they could help. Where was Lewis during all of this? I was still at the front of the robot, and lacking the job of human clamp, got really bored watching the team unplug, refit, and retest parts. There also was this really soft, velvety bumper right in front of me. I fell asleep on the front bumper of the robot, during the worst elelctro-mechanical failure of the season, nestled in the arms of the robot, and sound asleep.
