Are you sure you got the weight right, if so how thick is the aluminum. The density of aluminum is about 0.1 lb/cu.in. It’s not clear how tall it is but I’ll assume 5’ (60”) for the box and 4’ (48”) on each side. That’s 4 x 48 x 60 = 11,520 sq.in. for the sides plus 2 x 48 x 48 = 4608 sq.in. for the top and bottom. Divide 90 lb by 0.1 lb/cu.in. and again by (11,520 + 4608) sq.in. and you get an average thickness of a little less than 1/16”. That’s without skids, connections or internal bracing. That is NOT going to made for a very robust crate.
