Info on old FIRST competition objectives/ field layouts???

Hello all,

Is there any centralized place I can find a description about every single FIRST game and what the objectives / field has looked like.

I have been involved in FIRST since 2001 so I know what the games from 2000 till present have been and bits and pieces from previous years.

I'm looking to lay out my hypothesis about what this years game will be (and I have an EXTREMELY strong hypothesis, but I need to know if it has been done before, without mentioning it first).

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated...

Oh, and the way my brain works is totally random, so I can connect totally random things by one link... (Thank you ADD) So any correct guesses as to what my hypothesis would be would be a miracle on your part!!

Here's a great website I found last week while putting together a "history of FIRST" presentation for our rookie classes

http://www.surko.net/first/competition/1998/index.html

(click on the links on the side for the other years)

This gives the field layout, description of the games and scoring, and a general description of robot limits for that year.

There are a couple of threads that have discussed this before where Al and Andy have given a similar description of earlier years as well. I'll edit this when I find them again - I just did a CD search for "previous year game" or something like that.

Here's the thread:

You guys missed a great year, 2000 was probably my favorite competition to date. 1999 was also a really cool competition, with moving platforms and all. I will see if I can dig up some old game docs, maybe try the Internet archive as well?

Update:

Here are the docs for 2000 as example:
