2017 Bayou Regional

The Bayou Regional is looking to be stacked this year with a large amount of wild cards coming to the event.

364 is excited to see all of our Bayou friends and some new teams coming this year. It's sure to be fun, but tough!

Good luck everyone and we will see you all this weekend!

P.S...

I like the mods! Did the addition of an active gear intake require the elimination of your fuel handling capability?

I think Bayou will be very competitive this year. Based on my scouting of the last couple of weeks, this event looks to be wide open.

Can't wait for Thursday!

Re: 2017 Bayou Regional

Team Breakaway 3937 is excited to be back at Bayou! We missed last year due to back to back regionals, but there is no way I am missing this year. This is one of the best run regionals in the world and the volunteers are in a league of their own! Cannot wait to join up with some old friends and meet some new ones.

We did give up our fuel floor intake for the active gear intake, but we can still load fuel from the hoppers. Honestly though, we will most likely only shoot fuel in autonomous.

We plan on having a chute that feeds the 10 preloaded fuel to our shooter for use in autonomous. We decided that fuel is only valuable in either very small or very large quantities, so we took the small route in order to possibly edge us ahead in matches where fuel would break a tie.

Brian, thank you for the support. You guys looked great at Arkansas. I didn't get a chance to come by and see your robot up close - I'll have to make time this weekend.

I agree with your strategic analysis. I'm looking forward to checking it out in person.
