[IN] St Joseph Event

It's officially Week 1! Get excited!

I've seen a lot of debate about IN St Joseph, so lets bring it all to this thread.

Who should we be watching out for? What robots have we already seen through reveal videos? Qualifying predictions?Chairmans predictions? Elims predictions? General predictions?

Alright, CD, do your thing!

Some quick stats:

29.4% Michigan teams, 70.6% Indiana

52.9% have not competed yet this season, 47.1% have, with 38% at Tippecanoe

I'm excited for next weekend!

Re: [IN] St Joseph Event

What were the double yellow cards in finals match 1 for? I know one was for 3147 for manipulating 2 gears but what was the other one for? It sounded like they said "external wireless communication" ...? I'd just like to hear exactly what the second yellow card was for in detail if possible. I'm just curious. Thanks!

I don't know.

But, the commentary in the stands was funny -- one person speculated that a drive team member forgot to put their mobile phone in "airship mode"; another speculated that someone was texting while driving, which will get three points taken off your license in Indiana.

I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.

Josh from 3357 posted on another thread earlier and confirmed it was for a member of 5502 texting during the match. Said member feels awful and is using this as a learning experience.
