Best way to cut a CIM shaft?
I quite enjoyed running the CIM at full speed with a hacksaw up against it, but something tells me you are looking for a slightly safer option.

Re: Are BAG motors CIMS?

No, but I'm curious - why do you ask? They're both allowed in any quantity* this year, and you can only put one on a motor controller. CIMs are much larger and a bit slower, but with more torque and power. Mini-CIMs are intermediate in size and also fit the other criteria.
