SRX Mag Encoder Magnets

Does Vex or someplace else sell extra magnets for these encoders?
Our team has dropped a shaft with one in it twice, and they break really easily because of how brittle they are. I'd rather not buy a $40 encoder just for the magnet.

I think we also have a couple extra magnets - let me know if you'd like them nailed off to you.

Above is linked the magnet itself. Alternatively, if this is a recurring issue, AndyMark has a bunch of shafts with magnetic ends depending on the transmission you're looking to use, which means you just have to add spacing.

Re: SRX Mag Encoder Magnets

You can also get just the magnet from magnet shops like here. The important specs can be found in section 1.5 Magnet Specifications in the SRX Mag Encoder manual here. The important specs are: diameter (1/4"), length (1/2"), diametrically polarized.
