Use the CAD field model to get field measurements

Lots of teams spend so much time getting field measurements manually. Team 1732 uses the CAD model to get the "theoretical" locations of field elements, then just double checks those numbers quickly during the field calibration period. This year it's been pretty accurate, within 0.25-0.5 inches. (0.5 inches is probably around our measurement error too, we weren't being super careful).

+1, we take it a step further and pretty much make our autos from the Solidworks field CAD. Super accurate, quick, and you can visualize it really easily by moving your robot assembly around.
