Camera and field data communication issues

We have a Microsoft Lifecam 3000 plugged into our RoboRio. Before we had connected it to the field, the camera worked fine, but now it doesn't work. We have looked at the web dashboard for the roborio and the camera shows up as a USB device. In the drivestation, the camera does not show up under the camera selector - the only option is 'No Camera Selected". We have tried both usb ports on the RoboRio, and neither work. Any suggestions?

We're also having issues pulling the game data from the field. Even with a 1 second delay at the beginning of autonomousPeriodic, the data still not being pulled. The line we're using to get the gamedata is this:
Code:
String gameData = DriverStation.getInstance().getGameSpecificMessage ();
We then check the specific character by using this:
Code:
if(gameData.charAt(0) == 'L')
Any suggestions are greatest appreciated!

Re: Camera and field data communication issues

Do you mind if I see the snippet of code that includes the Game data?

Assuming this is Java, can you connect to the camera page with a web browser? The web page is http://roborio-TEAM-frc.local:1181/

Also, if you run OutlineViewer, you should see a bunch of NetworkTables keys related to the camera.

If there are issues with either of the above, try reimaging your radio and/or try a different radio. Also make sure all the firewalls on your laptop are turned off.
