Re: 2018 Miami Valley Regional (MVR)

Our team is pretty curious as to when and where this will be. Rocket City isn't the same week as Smoky Mountains again, thankfully, but Rocket City still falls directly on our Spring Break and is right before Smoky Mountains. If MVR isn't too far away like last year, and not right before or after Smoky Mountains, it's going to be enticing.

I too wish that this thread was posted with actual info though.

For anyone who's reading this, please only post these kinds of threads if you have information beyond "it's just happening." I had already assumed that it was happening, and I'm sure others did too. Nothing against the OP, but just stating that information is not helpful, especially to those who thought it might be (like guniv, above) with their regional planning.

Why would you "assume" the event is happening, just because an event existed last year doesn't mean it will this year. Events are cancelled all the time due to all sorts of circumstances.

I had thought it would be happening because the Queen City/Miami Valley regional has been happening for many years now, and I expect that trend to continue. "Assumed" may not have been the right word choice, rather "thought" would have been better.

Due to your previous post, I now see your intent to edit later with details. Sorry if I came off as rude in my earlier post, but I would have appreciated an initial post with more information.

We are excited for our new venue. The FLL State Championships have been held there for as long as I can remember and it is a great site with lots of room.
