Team 5950 hosts MARS Competition

Join us on October 7, 2017, at 9 AM for the Mid-Atlantic (Broadband) Robotics Showdown! Come watch robots compete from all around the Chesapeake region, completing tasks in FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Steamworks. The event will be held in the Tunstall High School (Dry Fork, VA) gymnasium. Free Admission. The event is open to the public. For FIRST Robotics teams, the cost is $300 to enter. Questions? A new off-season event in the East.
How many teams are you hoping for? Have you reached out to NC as well?
What influenced your event date?
Sorry for all the simple questions. Just thinking of some others might ask.

We are hoping for 24 teams. We have reached out to North Carolina as well, as we are expecting many teams to attend from out of state. We picked the date, October 7th, as there are not many other Off-Season events that day. It is also between the other two major off-season events in the Chesapeake region.
