I always got a weird vibe from that bear... It makes so much more sense now knowing that it is from another planet.

Otherwise definitely looking forward to BE. The evil sundae is always a special treat to watch others suffer through.

A few weeks back I fostered the bear for a couple hours in our pit. After putting it on our table, I later found it in our tote. Everyone on our team swore the didn't touch it.

Further proof the bear is sentient and can post to CD.

I had a great time at BE last year and I'm excited to volunteer again this year! I'm also PSYCHED that I never have to construct an airship or replace a spring again after this weekend.

369 is a pretty unfortunate oversight. I was impressed by 369's gear cycling at NYC. 369 was actually next on our pick list after 2383. Otherwise, solid coverage from Howard.

Re: Brunswick Eruption 16 - Nov. 11, 2017

Now that the event is over, the field stowed, and myself safely at home, I can now say *thank you*, to all of the volunteers and teams for making this *awesome!* This was my first time volunteering for BE, and I see every reason to continue.

So thank you to....
Team 25 - For making this event possible!

Team 694 - For being a fanstastic alliance captain, it was fun playing with NY teams for a change.

Team 5895 - For playing with us again after Midknight Mayhm, we had better luck this time.

Finally, thank you to all the teams we played with and against for making it an amazing experience for everyone involved. See you next year hopefully

Re: Brunswick Eruption 16 - Nov. 11, 2017

What an amazing, well run event! It was my first time volunteering at anything FRC and it definitely made me want to return. MAR is a wonderful district and hopefully I can hang out more in the area. I have a newfound appreciation for volunteers, and want to thank all the volunteers that made BE possible. I hope to come back next year!

Congrats to captains 694, and alliance members 5895, 1257, 41 on the victory! Also congrats and thanks to all the teams that came down to play. It was a really fun event to watch, let alone volunteer at.

Howard - I think you an MARtian need to go to bed early tonight. Don't want an FTA bear running on too little sleep.

Re: Brunswick Eruption 16 - Nov. 11, 2017

Can confirm, BE was an amazing event, and the evil sundaes were, in fact, quite evil. Something about Barbecue sauce, brussel sprouts, and flaming hot Cheetos turns the stomach of someone who wasn't even eating it.

Great job to the entire event planning group, and thanks to 25 for hosting the event.

A few lucky teams got to go home with a boatload of various plexi, aluminum, and steel items for virtually free.

On an different note, this was the last time most of us will ever have to assemble, or even see an Airship again, and that gives me some semblance of closure for sure.
