am-3108 vs am-2924

Hey all,
I'm hoping that someone has some feedback tonight, AndyMark is closed for the evening and we leave for our Week 1 first thing tomorrow morning...
We ordered 2 am-3108 and received 1 am-3108 and 1 am-2924. Are these the same motors and just weird technicality on part numbers? One has more documentation than the other but not enough for us to really compare...
Thanks for any input!

Re: am-3108 vs am-2924

Did you receive just the motor for am-2924? The motor is the same for both part numbers, but the am-2924 should come with a gearbox attached. It's entirely possible you got a motor intended for a gearbox for some reason.

Re: am-3108 vs am-2924

Kelsey,

Sorry for the confusion! Assuming you received two motors without a gearbox, then yes they are identical! All of our PG motors are the same, but the 27 uses a different pinion than the 71 and 188. Unfortunately, our staff some times misses relabeling the motor when we remove it from a gearbox, but I assure you, so long as one says 2924, it is the same motor and pinion gear as the 3108!

Sorry again for the confusion!

Jon
