That's a really quick way to get removed from most people's pick-lists. Climbing the platform and whatever ramp system bots have available should have been very high on every team's requirements list.

Re: Come Fly With 2590

So we're actually using 3 4" wheels to a side this year...and have yet to encounter any troubles at all. We have gone over the platform in just about every direction and have not had any problems. The robot has 1.25" of ground clearance.

If you can drive over the field, this should be no problem.

Use of 4 inch wheels does not necessarily equate to low ground clearance.

Re: Come Fly With 2590

Very impressive.

Given the limited number of cubes, can an Einstein caliber alliance afford the 3 cubes it takes to levitate without compromising switch/scale ownership?

This is where this type of robot excels, great work.

We were using 4" colsons and cleared the cable protector by about 1/8".

Re: Come Fly With 2590

Good to hear that everyone is confident that they can clear the conduit, it should be fun to see which teams make it into the triple climb club*.

*Are we still doing clubs?

Love it. I'm assuming your ramps are lightweight if so how much do they weigh?
