Team 973: The Greybots 2018 Code Release

Team 973 is proud to release their code for Havoc, our 2018 season robot! Here is the link to our GitHub repository: https://github.com/Team973/2018-inseason.

Some unique and interesting features to look for:
  • Build and deploy system with Bazel
  • GreyLight - A system for dynamic pattern generation for APA102 LEDs, driven from the roboRio (mainly used for driver feedback)
  • Collision avoidance with our intake assembly and hang forks
  • Utilizing motion magic control mode on CANTalons for elevator and wrist motions
  • Pathfinder integration with autonomous modes (including backward trajectories) on which trajectories are generated at build-time
  • GreyDash - custom dashboard primarily used for tuning PID (based on FRCDashboard)
  • CANTalon wrapper - used to set default values for all Talons
  • Coding style checker at commit following our own style guide
  • 2.5 switch auto
  • 2 cube scale auto
