Re: Tennessee Valley Fair Robo-Rodeo Sept 8-17, 2017

Perhaps I'm not reading this right, but does this mean that the people with the attending team (students, mentors, chaperones) are limited to 10?

In other words, any people above 10 will have to purchase tickets for the Fair for all three days?

At $10 a head + $10 a day for parking this event could get pricey...

There is no limit on the amount of people you bring. The Fair is giving each team 30 one day tickets to use however they please.

As for you question, TVA and the Tennessee Valley Fair are sponsoring the event with the help and support of local area teams

So if my team were to bring 30 people to the event, all 30 people could enter the venue, free of charge, all three days?

If I'm taking all the info presented right, it seems like they're giving everyone 30 passes that only work for one day. So you'd be on your own for passes on other days if you use all 30 on the first day.

Re: Tennessee Valley Fair Robo-Rodeo Sept 8-17, 2017

Here is a 2017 Robo-Rodeo UPDATE!
- The late fee has been lifted and the final registration deadline is September 7th
- As part of the registration fee all each team will receive 3 Day Fair Passes for all "registered" team members & coaches/mentors + an additional 20 3 Day Passes for "friends & family"
- There will be event t-shirts available but they must be pre-ordered -- details will be in an information packet each team will receive after registering

We will need volunteers to help set-up the filed on Friday Sept 8th and tear-down after the award ceremonies Sunday Sept16

We are also looking for create ideas for matches after load-in on Friday Sept 8th --- some early suggestions include: barrel racing around the airships, "tractor pull", mentor match, lights-out match, sack racing, drag racing, head-to-head dueling gear delivery ... What are your thoughts?

This is significantly better; thanks for making this work for teams that may attend.

3959 would love to attend. I'm filling out the paperwork this morning.

Sorry for the late notice. We just had our first organizational meeting of the year last night.
