Windows Activation Error

We've re-imaged our classmate and are now trying to activate Windows. There's a secure internet connection, and when we try activating it we get this error message:
Quote:
Error 0xC004F074
Description: The Software Licensing Service reported that the computer could not be activated. No Key Management Service (KMS) could be contacted. Please see the Application Event Log for additional information.
Have any other teams been getting this error? If so, have you found a fix? I've been searching the FIRST website and posts on here, but what I've found pertains to last year. I'm a bit cautious of applying an old fix. I remember having this problem last year as well, but my mind goes blank as to how we solved it.

Re: Windows Activation Error

After we used the E09 reimaging flash drive, our E09 Classmate was successfully activated (at a mentor's home, because we do not have internet access at our workshop). A week later, after using files copied from a local rookie team, we reimaged our E11 Classmate. Using the same internet connection as before, Windows fails to activate, showing an error different from the one in this thread. It's the error reported by SMHS in post #6 of the referenced thread.

I reimaged the Classmate several times. I was never able to get the "Use the automated phone system" option to appear, using any of the available login accounts. I'll be working on it again this weekend.

Re: Windows Activation Error

I ended up going to the 2011 KOP website, and applied the fix from there. It worked fine, and as far as I know it shouldn't cause any problems.
