Kinect installation issue

we installed all the correct the software for the Kinect, but when we try to run skeletal viewer it crashes on start-up. the error that it states is: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

any help?

sound like you have a directx problem.

Also make sure you have the correct kinect sdk.

At the time of competition, the kinect server required "Microsoft Kinect 1.0 Beta2 SDK". However the latest version is 1.5. I believe that our team had installed the wrong version at first...

It looks like the installer hasn't been updated since January, so you probably use the Beta2 SDK. Available here.
