What is "The Bridge"?

I am unable to find the actual definition of what is defined as the bridge. Does it include the foot tall platform that supports the double hinge?

I believe that was answered in a Q&A.

Q. Are the non-movable parts of a bridge considered part of the bridge for purposes of physical contact for rule G28? FRC3005 2012-01-11

A. The Bridge consists of all components included in the Bridge Assembly drawing, GE-12017.

So technically the 4" ridge under the bridge is still part of the bridge?

Re: What is "The Bridge"?

If you are planning to use it to assist balancing, remember, they are allowed to change the rules, even during the contest if they feel that you are breaching the intent of them.

If you want to be sure, I'd write a question telling exactly your intent on the official QA. If you feel that you would be giving away trade secrets, then wait till the last week of build...
