Smoked/Tinted Polycarbonate sourcing

Our team wants to use black smoked/tinted polycarbonate on the robot this year but cannot seem to find a good source. Have any of you found a good and reliable source for this. I have seen other teams use it in the past. I am not looking for solid black but dark black tinted.

McMaster. They sell 2'x4' sheets for about $40 each. They are expensive, but IMO worth it for the sake of convenience.

You can try to call Laird Plastics at 215-785-1114 they have offices all over the country and sell nothing but plastics.

Re: Smoked/Tinted Polycarbonate sourcing

We used a place called Tap Plastics. They have a website and ship things...They also do custom cutting.

Hope this helps.
