Exclamation [FTC]: LabVIEW / IR Sensor

If you're using LabVIEW and have a clue how to test the IR sensor, please let 5526 know. We downloaded some VI's from HiTechnic, but we're confused as they don't seem to do anything.

We're just looking for a front panel/VI to see if the thing is working, etc. We're not 100% the sensor is even working at this point.

Re: [FTC]: LabVIEW / IR Sensor

Well I found the answer this morning. The sensor is actually working just fine. We just needed to find the proper test VI to check everything out and see how it works.

I found it by opening LabVIEW 2010, and then going to "Create Program". Under Templates choosing VI. Then browsing through the folders on the right. NXT Robotics > HiTechnic > HTIRSeekerACDriveToBall.vit

And that showed us the range of the sensor and which direction, etc. Everything looks great. I will leave this open in case someone else comes along looking for the same information we were!
