In our Autonomous mode we have the motors set to Position control mode, and they work.
In our Teleoperated mode we have the motors set to Percent VBus control mode, and the work. But when we try to implement both of these in the same code, and switch between the Control modes using the Mode Switch block, the motors show up as being in Percent Vbus but we are not able to control them. Does anyone know if there is anything else we need to reset? Am I missing something? Thanks in advance -Mike |

Re: CAN Switching Control Modes in Labview
UPDATE: We fixed the code by: Changing it to Voltage mode in Teleoperated, RESETING THE PID VALUES, RE-ENABLING the motor, and then giving it a value between 1 and 13 (Because max voltage is somewhere a little over 12).

Re: CAN Switching Control Modes in Labview
What do you mean by resetting PID values. Do you mean you set them to 0?
Now that you made those changes, does it now work in %Vbus mode, or does it only work in voltage mode? |
