What is the safety log?

A friend of mine is the student safety captain for our team (rookie team). she would like to know how to make a student safety training log.

Have her get input from the mentors who work with the machines. Use the safety information provided with them.

She also mentioned something about a safety book/log thing that was needed for the competition. Like i said we are all rookies,except for one mentor, and he said to ask here.

Perhaps she's thinking of recommendations in the FIRST Safety Manual: http://www.usfirst.org/uploadedFiles...ety_Manual.pdf

You can search this document for "log" regarding a training log to keep track of safety training (use of machines, etc.)

Or look for MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets).

"The safety log is the log people sit on to think about the unsafe act they've just committed."
