Workbench 3.0 vs 3.3

So I am confused here on the Workbench 3.0 and 3.3 stuff.

From the 2012 KOP I installed Disc 1. Then I installed Disc 2 because this is on a Windows 7 box. That creates desktop shortcuts for both 3.0 and 3.3.

However, when I try to run the 3.3 version I get a Java error. When I run the 3.0 however it doesn't seem to "take" the plugin for that the cookbook mentions for the C++ library.

SO - if I am using Windows 7 - should I install both? Should I be using the 3.0 or the 3.3?

Re: Workbench 3.0 vs 3.3

Disc 1 is for Windows 7, both 32/64-bit systems
Disc 2 is additional updates for 64-bit systems only.

Re: Workbench 3.0 vs 3.3

Found the problem was that I missed the little phrase in the instructions that the 2nd disc must be installed *without* running WorkBench 3.0 first.

Did an uninstall everything and then install of Disc 1 and immediatly Disc 2 and stuff seems to be working now.
