Dr. Woodie Flowers coined the term Gracious Professionalism, and he exemplifies it. He is the chairman of FIRST's executive advisory board, and is usually introduced by the title "FIRST National Advisor". And he is the inspiration for the award that bears his name.
All of us who volunteer, mentor, sponsor, and otherwise encourage the students who participate in FIRST have this in common: we wanna be like Woodie.
