Team 166 Presents "Broomba"
![]() We had just re added the electrical board to our test frame, and it was time to clean up. We were still driving the robot around so one of our team members had an idea. 4 zip ties and 2 minutes later this happened. |

Re: Team 166 Presents "Broomba"
This robot looks nothing like our actual robot, in the beginning we were going to use a wide configuration and then our design team decided that they wanted to go length wise instead, we never switched this frame as we were too busy building the actual robot.
But yes we are using a shooter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtiK87pE_9U Last edited by klmx30302 : 12-02-2012 at 18:50. |

Re: Team 166 Presents "Broomba"
Forgive my asking, but what are those three things that look suspiciously like CIM motors on planetary reducers? ([R48] compels me to ask, because 7 > 4.) Edit: Per the post you slipped in ahead of mine, I guess this isn't supposed to represent the real robot. Fair enough.
I like the broom, however. Last edited by Tristan Lall : 12-02-2012 at 18:50. |

Re: Team 166 Presents "Broomba"
Those are CIM motors on the side of the robot with bane bots transmissions and they are taped on to act as dead weight. Its to offset the weight of the electrical board on the opposite side.
