Dear. Dr. Joe,

Our team is following your drill advice. We have performed step #5 successfully. We now have a moving base!

Out next plan is to perform steps #3 and 4. Can you advise on materials and parts from Small Parts that will enable us to complete these steps with minimal machining?

How would you recommend to make the rings in step #3? Any favorite materials? Is there any tubing from SPI that will fit nicely?

Could you call out a part number for a recommended M-6 tap and screws? What length should the screws be? When you install the screws are there heads flush with the hole or do they stick above the housing?

If we choose to use the tube, is there a part from SPI that we can simply order and cut a length of?

Thanks,
Team 340
GRR (Greater Rochester [NY] Robotics)
