How to get Blue Alliance banner?

I just wondering how I would get that image with my team's record from the Blue Alliance in my signature. I've seen so many other people with it, but I couldn't figure out how to get it.

But instead of 247 just put your team number
(I got it before thebluealliance.net switched to .com)

Alas, that only works if you're allowed to put links in your signature. I don't seem to have that permission yet, and I'm not sure what I need to do to get it. I've been told that it has something to do with how many posts I've made, and possibly how long I've been registered, but no one has given me a specific answer yet.

I get the message:
BB code url is not allowed.

I'm probably not doing it right, but when I put the BB Code in, I get "BB code url is not allowed". Can anyone help me out here?

As you can see from my post earlier in this thread, I had the same issue. Eventually, I got permission to include a URL in my sig. I didn't do anything special to make it happen, and I never found out exactly what the criteria were for getting permission. I think it's a combination of number of posts, and time since signing up. It's also possible that reputation points help, and/or that moderators are inspecting our posts and using a bit of professional judgement.

I don't actually mind that we can't use links until we get permission, because I sure would hate to see spam ruin our forum. I just wish we could get a clear statement of the rules, so we would know how long we're going to wait.

Ok, I wasn't sure before if that was the actual reason or if that was just speculation. Thanks for clearing that up.
