Perfecting an Auton

We decided to develop a new Auton for the upcoming Troy competition. It is coming along nicely yet not perfected.

Look nice. Hopefully I'll be able to make it up to Troy to watch a few matches.

Nice! It's very fast as lining up to shoot. Just be careful that you don't suck up more than 1 ball off the bridge. Sometimes there's a lot on there, and a minimum of 2.

Nice work! Look forward to seeing it this weekend!

We might have to race you to the bridge

Thanks again for being a great partner at Waterford!

Actually since its only a 3 point penalty as long as you can guarantee making the shot you don't have to worry too much about it.

Yeah, if you could pick up 4 to 6 you could make a profit because each auton high basket score is worth 6. If you scored six balls in auton you'd have 36 points, minus the penalty points. Do you know if there is a three point penalty per ball, or is it just one penalty for carrying more than 3 balls?

i've always been under the impresion (and my rej experience this year has backed it up) that it is per ball.

The balls don't enter at the exact same time. So every time a ball entered your robot's possession, it would be violating the penalty. Sit it is basically a 3 point penalty per ball.
