Re: team and divisions listing
Given that there are still 2 official events that both send a large amount of teams, at least another 5 days or so. Probably a week. Same time as usual ( 'Bout a week or so before Champs.) If you'd like to get a head start on strategy, just start watching Finals matches from various regionals. Look up teams that you've heard a lot about, and reread a bunch of Looking Forward.

Re: team and divisions listing
Once they have the teams attending, they will post the list.
Please bear in mind that the 18 from MI and however many are coming from MAR have yet to be determined; that will happen this weekend at the respective area championships. The absolute earliest that I would expect the list would be Tuesday. For 400 teams (a 60-team increase over previous years), it might take a bit longer. |

Re: team and divisions listing
In 2002 through 2004 the divisions were released the Tuesday 9 days before the beginning of the championship. That ended up ranging anywhere from before the last regional ended (2003) to 10 days after the last regional ended (2002).
In 2005, the divisions were released on a Monday, 10 days before the beginning of the championship (9 days after the end of the last regionals). In 2006, the divisions were released on a Friday, 13 days before the beginning of the championship (13 days after the end of the last regionals). In 2007-2009, the divisions were released on a Wednesday, 8 days before the beginning of the championship (3-4 days after the end of the last regionals). In 2010, the divisions were released on a Thursday, 7 days before the beginning of the championship (4 days after the end of the last regionals) In 2011, the divisions were released on a Friday, 13 days before the beginning of the championship (6 days after the end of the last regionals) |

Re: team and divisions listing
"strategies" is also something poor to plan for whenever you have knowledge of either your alliance or your opponents. General team scouting would me a much better use of resources (But with 400 its still a ton of wasted effort without lists)
