all the great help!!!
Posted by Jimmy Holmes.
Coach on team #27, Team RUSH, from Osmtech Academy and DaimlerChrysler. Posted on 3/3/2000 6:09 AM MST Thank you all for the great input!! I believe the first thing we will at great lakes is tie the two arms together better. Plus redo the cal on the speed controllers and check the tension screw on the van door motors.Things we should have done to start off with I think... late nights cause rash thinking. Someone asked how the motors were facing..they are facing with the shafts forward and horizontal and they are attached to a worm gear, one on each side of the robot. Which move two short arms arms up and down at the same time (in theory) I agree if we do the simple things first we will not need the clever program.. I think I just needed to hear it from others... again thank you for your help. Team 27's Jack of all trades Jimmy Holmes |
