Roots of First
Woodie Flowers is featured on the MIT web site today. There is a link that reviews a course given at MIT called 2.007 and its older version 2.70. It is basically the blueprint for FIRST.
I like the mid 1970's pictures of Woodie. http://video.mit.edu/watch/2007-documentary-2625/ This the website link: http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2012/e...bots-0507.html Last edited by idahorobot : 08-05-2012 at 19:44. |

This is great! I never thought I would see another program so similar to FIRST

PS: Some of you might recognize some of the students featured in the video as people now involved in FIRST... Last edited by Ken Streeter : 08-05-2012 at 23:44. |

Re: Roots of First
Watching videos of the 1992 competition was a big part of what inspired me to go into engineering. It was great.
