The Knoxville Convention Center looks to be booked Feb 27th and March 2nd so I'm assuming the Smoky Mt. Regional is moving as well.

Anyone have info on perhaps a new location or a new week? Nothing FIRST related is booked yet for March.

Also just heard that the MAR Championship will not be in "week 7" like last time. It will be week 6 and is moving from Temple University, new location is TBD.

Looking at the spring breaks for the host sites, Boilermaker Regional could be March 14-16, Queen City Regional could be March 28-30, and the unconfirmed yet strongly hinted second Indiana regional could be April 4-6.

Akash - For reference, would you mind putting the corresponding dates on the OP?

There have been rumors floating around that the South Florida Regional might be going to a new location (after only 1 year), but that is just a rumor

On a side note does anyone know the date the FIRST is releasing all the regional dates and locations?

IIRC at the little "MAR Year in Review Open Forum" powow thing at Monty Madness this year, they told us that it wouldn't be week 7...it'll be interesting to see where they bring it...Also the Rutgers District might not be happening

According to the website of the Henry B. Gonzalez San Antonio Convention center, the 2013 Alamo Regional will be Easter weekend (March 28-30, 2013).

I have also heard the Rutgers District will not be happening at the same location again. Also at the BR^2 off season event it was announced that 303 and Bridge Water would be hosting a district event, which may be the former Rutgers event.

Las Vegas Regional is set for week 6. Tuscon in Arizona and San Bernardino in California are supposed to have new regionals last I heard. If anyone knows the venue for the San Bernardino event could they please enlighten the rest of us?

I imagine we would have heard by now if anyone was planning on implementing anything for the 2013 season...MAR and FiM were announced well before this time during their respective launch years. I know New England, and possibly other locations, are working towards a district system starting for the 2014 season.

We are still negotiating a location for the Inland Empire regional but the planning committee is already meeting and FIRST has given us the thumbs to have a regional in our area.

I've heard rumors about districs in California in 2014/2015 (rumors of rumors, actually).
