there are a lot of invitational competitions going on this year. in every previous
year, Rumble at the Rock has been the biggest, and one of the only. how
many are being proposed now? Is there going to be an official successor to
Rumble at the Rock? I'm worried about attendance to each of these events
being thin, simply because there are so many of them this year. our team
is starting one of our own on the west coast, and right now it looks like it'll be
in August

maybe instead of many teams wanting to start many competitions, teams
can work with each other to form fewer but larger invitationals?

Just a random thought...

Team 45 thought the same thing and that is why we are inlisting the aid of several teams from around this region to get together and put our event on.
If teams would like more info on the Indiana Robotics Invitational, please email me or Andy Baker.
My email is trailey@kokomo.k12.in.us or you can check out our webiste, technokats.org

:Because of the logistics of summer travel with students & Engineers and all the conflicts that entails, I like the idea of numerous smaller competitions. The whole purpose is playing time and having fun. No pressure, just a great time.
