[FTC] Battery issue?
I began to test autonomous on a robot from last year. Unfortunately, I did not have the batter strapped down, it was just sitting on a bar. The robot stop abruptly and the battery fell off and a fuse blew. Is this normal behaviour? The robot was on a carpeted floor and is about 1.3 inches off of the ground.

4 years of competition and robot abuse and we have never blown the fuse. Check for a loose connection and any shorts.

Zero,
Anything is possible with a fall. It is likely that the shock caused internal components to punch through normal cell and/or wire insulation and short internally causing the fuse to blow or mechanically fail. |
