Thank You - Duel on the Delaware 11

Attending Duel Teams:

On behalf of the 316-365 Duel planning committee, I want to thank each of you for attending the 11th annual Duel on the Delaware off-season event yesterday. We had our largest crowd ever, 34 teams. I hope your teams had an enjoyable time and created some great memories from the event. Thanks to Salem Community College for hosting once again!

Congratulations to all the Duel Master Volunteer nominees. Thanks to all teams who sent in a nomination. Essays will be posted on our MOE 365 website (www.moe365.org) in the next week or two. Big congratulations go out to Rob Ervin - Team 1218, recipient of the 2012 Duel Master Volunteer Award. Well deserved, Rob!

Thank you to our FTAs, Liz Smith and Bharat Nain (and Howard! )for helping us to run a smooth event. Thanks to our emcee, Wayne Penn, and our play-by-play announcer, Chris Gregory. You guys are a great team!

Thanks to Nathan Massouda and Brian Lucas for webcasting the event.

Thanks to Rose Young who facilitated the NEMO meeting at this event.

Thanks to MAR and Ed Petrillo and Bob Dudek for working out transport arrangements for the playing field. Everything went very well.

Thanks to teams 365 and 316 - and all of the volunteers - for putting on a great event once again. The level of competition at MAR-area offseason events has increased tremendously with the introduction of the district system - a trend that I expect will continue through Brunswick Eruption and Ramp Riot!

Thanks to 271 for picking us and to 1640 for once again helping our alliance to victory. It was great to make new friends and to re-connect with old ones.
