Re: Frisbees for Ultimate Ascent

I get AM orders shipped from Indiana, to Maryland in 2 days with standard FedEx. IF FIRST Choice still has frisbees in stock, you can opt for 2 white, 1 red, and 1 blue. Last edited by protoserge : 05-01-2013 at 21:31. |

Our team has been trying to buy the frisbee type from the game manual. Wham-O Super Flyer part# 53214. We've tried Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Sports Authority and Dunham's to no avail. If anyone know how to get some, help would be appreciated!

Re: Buying Frisbees
Your best bet is to get them through AndyMark to ensure that you have the exact same frisbee. They are $5.50 each.
FIRST has asked them to limit orders to 10 of each color per order this week. I haven't seen anyone successfully match the frisbee in a brick-and-mortar store or through any other online vendors. |

Or you could use the First Choice Credits your team will recieve.

Re: Frisbees for Ultimate Ascent
Yes, but considering the same frisbees only cost $5.50 non-FC, and cost 8 FC credits, it seems like a ridiculously bad use of credits. I mean, $55 Talons (were) selling for 6, and $180 cameras were selling for 8

Re: Frisbees for Ultimate Ascent
they could've been selling for 1 credit, but now that they are out of stock, it is irrelevant, eh?

Re: Frisbees for Ultimate Ascent
I found some misprints at my house (i ordered a lot of disks at one point) and a few are close enough to the comp disk that they could (possibly) be used to save on game pieces. All the actual design would have to rely on the actual game pieces but it will help.
Also disappointed in the lack of standardized game pieces. |

Re: Frisbees for Ultimate Ascent
Compared to previous years, I would consider this year to be VERY standardized (more than likely, who knows what'll happen as the season goes on). Yes, it's not a standard regulation Frisbee, but look at this year's game piece compared to last year's. Last year, ever so often, no two balls were alike. 2011, tube inflation wasn't regulated as much as it needed to be. 2010, I don't remember, but was there any inconsistency in ball inflation? 2009, well, orbit balls were next to impossible to find

Re: Frisbees for Ultimate Ascent
I think 2010 was the easiest year to get game pieces last year because it was a standard regulation size 5 soccer ball. albeit the cover finish was different it didn't make a big difference. The past few years have made it really hard to go to the store and just buy game pieces.

Re: Frisbees for Ultimate Ascent
Because I am at a remote site today, I don't have access to our KOP until tomorrow night. Can someone post the dimensions of the KOP supplied frisbee please? (diameter and height)
Thanks |
