Ultimate Ascent and Tribes: Ascend

As soon as several members of my team and I saw that the game involved shooting discs and had Ascent in the name, we thought of the game Tribes: Ascend.

One of the most iconic weapons from the game Tribes: Ascend is called the Spinfusor, which is basically a hi-tech explosive disc launcher.

We decided we just had to relate the two together at competitions.

Now, we don't plan on shooting explosive discs, like from Tribes, however, we do plan on shouting quotes from the game at any opportunity at the competitions

So, if anyone hears "Shazbot!," "The enemy is in disarray!," or "Repair our generator!" just know that it probably came from us.


Did anyone else immediately connect the two?
