Can a preloaded disc be in contact with the carpet?

After looking through the manual many times we could not find an answer to our question;
Can a preloaded disc be in contact with the carpet or does it need to be wholly supported by the robot?

Re: Can a preloaded disc be in contact with the carpet?

It's a great question for Q&A. The rule says "in or on", and I suspect the answer will be "it must be wholly supported by the robot", but it isn't explicit in the current manual.
