Status light not working

Status light on the robot is not working! We just finished setting up the electronics box, every single comment(all composed of old parts) and everything except the status light works. We know the light itself works, but no signal is sent to it. We changed out the sidecar, and module for the crio, the cable, everything. Still no status light. We even left it sitting for some time and nothing happened. Any ideas as of how this happened or whats going on? I'm thinking its because the Crio might have been re-set and needs to be configured but we can t test this just yet as the slow classmate is still loading Labview and all the updates. Any ideas ahead of time?

Re: Status light not working

There are many possible reasons for the light not to work so lets check a few things.

Are all three status LEDs on digital side car lite? If not then make sure you have 12 volts coming to the side car.

Have you wired the status light with the added jumper at the connector?

Is the two pin connector plugged in the correct way for proper voltage to the light?

With the status light disconnected from the side car does the status LED on the side car flash at all?

Answers to these questions will sure help us figure out what is wrong.

Good luck.
