Dimensions of Pyramid to Wall

Hey, I just wanted to make sure... The distance between the pyramid and the wall is 74 in. right? The only reason we're a little bit unsure is that if you look at any of the diagrams of the field, it's obvious that the length of the pyramid (94 in.) is significantly smaller than that distance. Probably we're just making some mistake, but take a look at diagrams of the field and tell us what you think.

I believe your math might be a little wrong. My team is getting 122 inches from the wall to the base leg of the pyramid. Here is my math.
The field is 54ft long. You take that and put it into inches 54*12=648 inches.
Now the centerline is half of that distance so, 648/2=324inches.
According to the manual section 2.2.2, "The Red and Blue lines are AUTO LINES, located 108 in. to either side of the CENTER LINE" so the AUTO LINE is 324-108=216 inches.
Now according to 2.2.5 of the manual, there is a distance of 94 inches from base to base of the pyramid. Thus 216-94=122 inches.

So I am getting 122 inches from wall to pyramid base.

Re: Dimensions of Pyramid to Wall

I agree with Jakester9999. I made the same mistake initially. I used the figure of 140" initially. But that number is the area bounded by the pyramid baseplates. The actual pyramid is indeed 94" from upright to upright, making the distance to the wall 122".

Oh, yeah, that's right 122 in. I can see now where we went wrong. Thank you!
