I'd like to extend a warm thank you to Vinny Bushemi for stirring up conversation in the forums...although Vinny's posts may not be the kindest and are definitely the most controversial, they help people to realize what the 'spirit of FIRST' is. Vinny's bad attitude has prompted the inspirational responses like the posts from Colleen, Andy Baker, etc...Thanks for helping us realize that there are no losers in FIRST.

Vinny's voice is welcome. I may wish that he expressed his views in somewhat less flamboyant language as he did, but I am really glad that he is speaking his mind.

As for myself, I know that in years when we have not been recognized, there is always a voice or two that grumbles about politics playing a role in our lack of recognition (somehow I never hear anyone grousing about such things when we DO get recognition ;-)

I have really come to believe that the Award Submission Process is the worth the effort. FIRST will be a better community if this view becomes more wide spread.
