General motor difficulties

Today we've been trying to get a motor to work. We first tried a VEX Victor 884 and now a Jaguar and have encountered the same general problem. Post status lights show the same general error: for the Victor it flashed orange which apparently indicates a PWM error and the Jaguar is flashing yellow which indicates a Servo error. The programming is ok. We have replaced the 37 wire ribbon connecting NI 9403 to the sidecar with the one from last year as well as the sidecar entirely. We have also reimaged our cRIO II, and tried different PWMs, keeping the programming up-to-date all the way through.
The cRIO is connected to the Classmate through a standard Ethernet cable, programming with LabVIEW. We are thinking of replacing the cRIO II with the cRIO II from last year as I had it running decently before December.
