Shooter Material
What are all the other teams out there using for their shooter's surface that the Frisbee slides on? We were going to use plexiglass, but have since learned that there will be a buildup of static if we rub the plastic and plexiglass together.

Re: Shooter Material
We are using Lexan (polycarbonate). Plexiglass is far too brittle for this purpose, it will shatter dangerously.
We are not concerned with static, we will manage any static discharge in another way. |

Re: Shooter Material
We're using 4mm thick Aluminum Composite Panel. It's lighter per square foot than 1/4" lexan, but a whole lot stiffer. And one side has a nice glossy paint or powder coat that the frisbees slide over very nicely.
