Solenoid Valve Questions

I am representing team 4607, and we are using 3 extending pneumatic cylinders controlled by double solenoid valves. The problem is, we do not know much about double solenoid valves and need to order 3 of them. Does anybody know what kind to get and where to get them, or if we need to get ones to match our programming? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Re: Solenoid Valve Questions

Could you possibly specify the uses of your three cylinders, it could be possible that you do not need three double valves.

Re: Solenoid Valve Questions

We are using our cylinders to extend, grab, and retract to climb the pyramid from underneath. And we want them to be able to work independently.

Re: Solenoid Valve Questions

Simplify your life. Get a manifold and a few solenoid valves from Vex Robotics. It will greatly simplify your plumbing and wiring.
