Shooter Problems

We are just using a CIM mounted on plywood connected to the robot with a 8mm hub 8" pneumatic wheels.
We had some questions.

How do we stop the wheels from going up? (securing it from coming off?)

What is the best way to build up form the KOP base we are using the narrow 6 wheel. We also have some donated 80-20 extrusion.

Also the hubs do not make a tight fit on the motor shaft is this normal?

Re: Shooter Problems

I think that the best, and easiest, way to secure them is to use set screws. Drill a hole in your hub and use a tap to thread it, then put a set screw in it and secure the wheel to the axle.

I'd say use a retaining clip. AndyMark sells them to keep gears on the cim and the also work with hubs.
