Go to Post Adaptability is the key folks. Your job will not be the same 10 years from now (when I retire), or 20 years or 30 years from now. The tools and systems you use will change, and you must be able to adapt along with them. - Bill Moore [more]

Pyramid bar height

Is it 30 inches till the bottom of the pipe, center of the pipe, or the top?
Look at the picture at this link for better understanding

Re: Pyramid bar height

Is it possible to get this clarified in the rules? How would I go about getting this done?

Re: Pyramid bar height

It's pretty clear from the game specific drawings with some trig.

http://www.usfirst.org/sites/default...c_Drawings.pdf

The game manual under Arena 2.2.5: http://www.usfirst.org/sites/default...c_Drawings.pdf

Has a centerline at 30", 60", 90"

If your robot can't deal with the difference in height between the bar being at 30" to the top or 30" to the middle, you need to reconsider your design. Field variation alone could affect that height.
