Visiting Austin/San Antonio

I am a teacher for Brownsville ISD and I have a training from 2/5/13-2/8/2013[/color] in Austin, Texas. I am a new teacher to robotics and would like to know if any team would allow me to visit you on these dates. I live in an area where it is hard to meet with other mentors as there are only a few teams here and most of us are new. If such is possible please contact me through email at fsalcedo@bisd.us or fsalcedo76@gmail.com Thank you in advance and good luck to all of you!

Re: Visiting Austin/San Antonio

Hi gowner,

If you will still be in the San Antonio area this evening, 3481 would love to have you stop by. I will PM you our contact information if you're interested. If you are going to be in the Austin area rather than San Antonio, there are several teams who I'm sure would love to show you how they run things. Hopefully they see this thread.

FIRST has a nearly vertical learning curve, so I am glad to see you are reaching out.

Cheers,
Parker
