We had a bit of defense on some matches with rarely getting the top three rows. When it's two versus one, it makes it quite difficult. One against one is fine if you have the factors outlined below on your robot.
The factors on our robot that gave us a bit of an edge was more surface area on the ground to create more friction and our grabber design was flexible enough to dispense at an angle.
It all depends on your robot's traction to the ground and flexibility of your robot's dispensing contraption. Also the opponent's robot mass, traction, and power.
