How has your strategy changed?
It's the beginning of the final week. In week one, our team couldn't decide which approach to take: a dedicated 30 point climber, or a floor shooter that hangs for 10? We ended up splitting our resources, and building proofs, prototypes and rough versions of both. Last week, we finally abandoned the climber because it was clear that it was much more challenging, and less lucrative (on points), than a decent shooter/multi-purpose bot. We've since seen several bots on CD that approximated our climbing ideas, and did it more elegantly that what we achieved.
There was a survey early on that pointed toward a lot of 30 point climbers. How have your ideas changed as your teams built final versions? |

Re: How has your strategy changed?
Other than a quick fiasco about designing for playing defense, and a couple debates over shooter design, not really.
But that mostly stems from the fact that our team has enough people and resources to develop that many solutions we came up with at the beginning of the season. |

Re: How has your strategy changed?
Our team was planning on the 30 points climb and have a drop system for another 20points and be a defencive robot/1point disc but due to a week of snow days in 4 we desided we would not have enought driving time to perfect the climbing system so we scrap our plan a and when with a easier level one climber and a good 4 and 5 point shooter. But that's what it like have crazy michigan weather but at lest now we have time for our driver to get used to the omni drive this week before the our comps. I'm very excited to see how allinces work together this year this game pretty cool and I hope to seea 90 point hang. Good luck to all
